Brian Clegg Donate £35,000 of Paint to Christian Charity!

Monday 08, August 2011

In July this year, the directors of Brian Clegg showed their support for under-privileged children across the World by donating surplus paint stocks to Christian charity, International Aid Trust.

Following a recent change in bottle and label design for their Ready Mixed Paint and reluctant to let the 38,628 bottles go to waste, the arts & crafts Company thought of no better charity than the International Aid Trust (IAT).

Having known Reverend Bernard Cocker, CEO and Founder of IAT for many years, Brian Clegg's, Stephen Cotton is aware of the integral work the IAT do for countries plagued by war and impoverishment. Driven by their strapline, 'Christian Compassion For A Hurting World', the IAT are involved with many projects across the world including; Summer Camps for needy children in Crimea, Ukraine, a school support program in Lunghi, Sierra Leone and various child support schemes for families, schools and orphanages across Belarus.

Delighted to hear the news, Rev. Bernard Cocker couldn't thank Brian Clegg enough, "What a generous gift and thanks so much for remembering us!"

The Company are pleased to hear the 50 pallets of Ready Mixed Paint are now being despatched to schools across Eastern Europe, Africa and India and look forward to receiving images of happy children enjoying using their paint!
