Andrew is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and earlier in his career headed up the technical and development department for a metallic pigments and inks company.

Andrew likes getting outdoors, is a keen runner, photographer and music enthusiast.

Calvin Lord

Heading up the business, Calvin’s main areas of responsibility are for Business Systems/Operations, Financial activities and Business development opportunities.

Calvin’s a Chartered Accountant and earlier in his career was the Financial Director / Assistant Director for a global metallic pigments and inks company.

Calvin has a keen interest in the creative arts, reading and music and was the bass guitarist in a band in his 20’s.

Stephen Cotton

One of 3 company directors, Stephen is responsible for all commercial and marketing activities for Brian Clegg Art and Craft Products.

Educated to degree level Chemical Engineering, Stephen spent his early career as a project engineer for a metallic pigments and inks company, before making the leap into the commercial world of European Sales Management. 

Quite active in his spare time Stephen enjoys many sports including mountain biking, swimming and tennis.  

Paul Ives

Paul is responsible for Sales and Technical support for Ronald Britton Glitter & Metal divisions.  Paul is qualified as a Chartered Colourist and has over 20 years’ experience in the textile printing industry.  Paul is very technically minded and has great product and industry knowledge of glitters and metal powders, allowing him to manage his accounts effectively.

In his spare time Paul enjoys walking, travelling, music, cars & DIY.

Jadwiga Pawlowksa

Jadwiga (aka Yazzi) is our longest serving member of staff, who loves her job so much she just won’t retire (she doesn't look it but yes, she really is that old!!)  Jadwiga is responsible for the Sales and Customer Service for the Ronald Britton Metals business.  Over the years Jadwiga has acquired a wealth of product and application knowledge, she has a fun, unique personality that both colleagues and customers love.

Jadwiga has reduced her working hours so she can be "a lady who liquid lunches" (see next comment)!  She is known to enjoy the odd tipple of Rose, has an occasional flutter on the horses and would definitely not be out of place on the blackjack tables in the Las Vegas Casinos!

Esther Eccles

One of three in our team, Esther is primarily responsible for the Ronald Britton Glitter customers as well as the Exporting of our goods.

Esther is our very own glitter girl and has gained sound product knowledge over the past 6 years.  She has extensive experience in customer services and our customers love her fun nature and eager to help attitude.

Esther is a creative soul.  She is interested in gardening & walking, enjoys listening to music and plays the piano, keyboard & flute (even better after a few sherries!).

Carly Lynch

One of three in our team, Carly is responsible for the caring and processing our Brian Clegg customer's precious orders.

Throughout her career, Carly has worked in customer service, she manages and maintains excellent relationships with our customers and is always happy to help.

Carly has an artistic flair and is really keen on face painting & make-up and can be found body painting in her spare time.  She is an avid gym-goer and likes to keep fit!  She could also point you in the direction of all the top bars & restaurants in Manchester.

Robert Neville

Robert is responsible for sales into the retail market. 

Robert has been involved in the Art and Craft industry for over 30 years.  He has worked in most disciplines within the industry during his career, he started as a chemist in the industry then moved into production management before moving into more commercial roles.

Robert likes to follow sport, was a very keen footballer and gets involved in a lot of community based activities.  He has a more quirky side in that he very keen on Wildlife gardening and butterfly watching. 

Lara Dawson

Lara manages the groups Customer Service Team, is responsible for the Ronald Britton Glitter division as well as the commercial management of a number of Key Accounts.

Lara has worked in a sales and customer service role throughout her career and has been with Ronald Britton for over 11 years.  She has extensive product knowledge and a wealth of experience in both the decorative glitter industry and the education market.    

With what little spare time Lara has, she enjoys ten-pin bowling, watching movies, spending time with her family and socialising with friends.

Bernard Fennell

Bernard’s responsible for technical development, quality and regulatory affairs.

Educated to degree level in Chemistry, Bernard has over 30 years’ experience in pigment development, quality and environmental management systems.  Bernard is perfectly suited to deal with all Brain Clegg’s technical and quality needs.

Bernard is a very keen all season bowler specialising in both Crown Green and Shortmat disciplines.  He currently plays for Stockport but has competed at County level for over 20 years in his career.

Michelle Marsh

Responsible for ordering raw materials/consumables for the business, Michelle joined us 2 years ago from Advantage Int’l where she was responsible for purchasing, good’s in/out and managing the warehouse staff.

In Michelle’s spare time she enjoys watching films and generally chilling out with friends and family.

Joanne Walton

Joanne is responsible for purchase ledger, month end and payroll, Joanne joined us from Wolstenholme Int’l where she was part of the accounts team.

Tracy Humphreys

Tracy heads up the accounts and purchasing team and is responsible for production planning for the business.

Tracy’s previous role was Finance Manager for a large manufacturing company having started out there 20 years ago on a trainee scheme.

Most of Tracy’s spare time is spent transporting her 3 children to their various activities but still manages to play netball and rounders, is a huge cricket fan and is learning to play the piano.

In his spare time Steve enjoys playing racquet sports, in particular tennis which he plays whenever he has any free time.

Richard Crompton

Richard joined us back in 2005 after 30 years previous experience in stores control and warehousing.  Richard is responsible for the Ronald Britton Warehouse and the Brian Clegg Collage department.

In his spare time Richard enjoys Fly Fishing, Gardening, Badminton and walking his 2 dogs.  He is also often found on the terraces at Ewood Park, watching his beloved Blackburn Rovers!

Stuart Chamberlain

Stuart is responsible for the day to day running our adhesive department, for which he has been responsible for over 5 years. 

With well over 12 years’ service at Brian Clegg, Stuart has spent time in most production departments.

Stuart is golf crazy and spends any spare time he can get on the course.  Stuarts only flaw is he’s is a very keen Manchester United support, but then again somebody has to. 

Harry Moore

Toy Production Team Leader

Harry leads our experienced team of toy makers and is responsible for the day to day operation of the department as well as working on new toy designs.

Harry has almost 20 years of experience in producing and designing toys for Brian Clegg.

He is an outdoor type and likes to cycle, fish and walk in his spare time – although not all at once!

Andrew Morant

Andy is responsible for supervising our paint operation and ensuring over 2.5 million bottles per year of paint and ink are produced efficiently and safely.

Andy has long experience in supervisory and maintenance roles within industry.

Outside of work he has a passion for photography and travel, to the Greek islands in particular.

Chris Humphreys

Chris is responsible for running our warehousing and distribution facility.

Chris has experience in warehouse management and earlier in his career used to manage a warehouse / distribution hub for an air freight company.

Chris is team sport crazy, he has represented England at indoor cricket and currently plays cricket for the local Norden CC.
