Non-fibrous Air Hardening Clay, perfect for beginners and classroom use. Large models or sculptures can be dried without the need for a kiln. Air Hardening Clay hardens on contact with air.
For the more advanced, smooth Ready Mix China Clay is also available.
Fired to earthenware temperatures (1120-1180 deg C) produces a buff colour, at stoneware temperatures (1220-1280 deg C) it matures to a grey tone. and can be dried in a kiln.
Once dry, both these clays can be varnished and painted.
